The chair Jo sat in as she wrote Harry Potter and the Sorcerors(Philosophers) Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is currently on Ebay!
This is the original chair on which J. K. Rowling wrote the first two Harry Potter books, as an impoverished single mum. The Harry Potter series has gone on to sell in excess of 400 million copies in 67 languages.
Originally donated by J. K. Rowling and sold in 2002 at a small charity auction which received little publicity, this significant item escaped the attention of the world. It is now offered to Harry Potter fans in every corner of the globe. Historically the most important chair in Muggledom, and probably one of the most exceptional and rare pieces of Harry Potter memorabilia ever likely to be offered for sale.
The chair comes with authentication from J. K. Rowling written on Owl Post headed paper, and full provenance.
