This is the original chair on which J. K. Rowling wrote the first two Harry Potter books, as an impoverished single mum. The Harry Potter series has gone on to sell in excess of 400 million copies in 67 languages.

Originally donated by J. K. Rowling and sold in 2002 at a small charity auction which received little publicity, this significant item escaped the attention of the world. It is now offered to Harry Potter fans in every corner of the globe.
